CerebIQ Privacy Policy

Effective DD Month 2026, version 1.0

Summary

1. Who we are

CerebIQ and this website are operated by Webark s. r. o., registered office Hlavná 61/57, 972 26 Nitrianske Rudno, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 52 580 539, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trenčín, section Sro, file no. 38743/R ("we"). Privacy contact: info@webark.sk.

2. What data the app processes and where

We do not send this data to our or anyone else's servers, we have no access to it and we never use it for profiling or advertising.

3. System permissions

Android – Usage access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): used to measure how much time the device spent today in the selected apps. Processing happens on the device only.

Android – Display over other apps: when the limit is reached, the app shows the quiz screen over the locked app.

Android – Foreground service and start after reboot: time measurement runs with a permanent, visible notification and resumes after a restart, so the lock cannot be bypassed by turning the phone off and on.

Android – Notifications: reminders and the running-service notice.

iOS – Screen Time (Family Controls): the app uses Apple's FamilyControls, DeviceActivity and ManagedSettings frameworks. Apps are selected in Apple's system picker; CerebIQ only receives opaque system tokens that do not reveal which apps they stand for, and these tokens never leave the device. On a child's device a parent approves the permission with their Apple Account.

4. Downloading educational content

The app downloads published educational topics, questions and pictures from a database hosted for us by Supabase, Inc. on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Requests are anonymous – they contain no account, device identifier or usage data. As with any internet connection, the server provider technically sees the device's IP address; we do not store or use it. When the device is offline, the app uses a built-in set of questions.

5. Children

CerebIQ is also intended for children aged 8 and up, always set up and supervised by a parent. We collect no personal data from children, the app has no chat, no ads and no purchases for children, and the child does not register anywhere.

6. Legal basis and retention

Data on the device is processed to provide the app's features at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is kept until you uninstall the app – uninstalling deletes all of it. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to handle it and at most 2 years (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Since app data exists only on your device, you exercise most rights there directly (settings, uninstalling). For questions write to info@webark.sk. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority (dataprotection.gov.sk) or the authority in your country.

8. Changes

When new features arrive (for example accounts or linking parent and child), we will update this policy in advance and tell you about material changes in the app.
